„At Ada Foah, adventure awaits just around the corner!„
1. Boat Trips: Enjoy scenic trips along the nearby Volta River. Explore the picturesque “Rum Island” just 15 minutes away, and witness the traditional process of distilling local sugarcane rum known as “akpeteshie.”
Cost: Approximately 30-40€ per boat (2-6 persons).
2. Local Market: Visit the vibrant Wednesday and Saturday market days in Ada Foah, a quaint village a 40-minute walk from Dreamland. Choose between a leisurely walk or opt for a taxi or motorbike ride.

3. Turtle Watching: Embark on a thrilling turtle-watching excursion guided by local wildlife experts. Season starts from October to January.
Cost: Approximately 6-8€ per person.
4. Afternoon at the Swimming Pool: Unwind at a nearby swimming pool. Arrange for a taxi to drop you off and pick you up within a maximum of 2 hours, or specify your preferred pickup time. We recommend the Peace Resort and Tsarley Korpey Resort. Check pool hygiene before diving in.
Cost: 8€/person for pool access and 10€ for taxi service to and from Dreamland.
5. Beach Cleanup: Contribute to the planet by participating in our beach cleanup initiative. Collect plastic debris from the beach and surrounding areas. 6. Beach: Take a walk on the beach in the front of Dreamland. Cooling your feet, collecting shels, or walking arround the beach is fine. Please take your sandals with you. Be carefull, because swimming is not safe in most beaches Ghana. The waves are large and the rip tides and undertows are very dangerous! There are no lifeguards on the beaches in Ada area. Sometimes the tides bring plastic and other garbage :o(

7. Ananui Estuary Market: Experience the lively Wednesday morning Ananui Estuary Market. Take a boat from Ada Foah coast and immerse yourself in the local market scene.
Cost: Approximately 10-20€ with local transport/boat + taxi
8. Fisherman’s Market Visit: Delight in a special evening BBQ with a fish of your choice. Head to the fisherman’s village in the late afternoon, select your fish, and our chef will prepare a delicious BBQ for you within 90 minutes. Please check with us in advance for fish availability.
Cost: Approximately 10€ for taxi service and 15€ for the fish (depending on size).
9. Reading Time: Dive into our small library filled with German and English books. Enjoy a book during your stay, and feel free to take it home if you love it. Finished your book? Leave it in our library for others to enjoy.

10. Cape Coast Castle / Kakum National Park Trip: Venture on a 3-day journey from Dreamland to explore the renowned Ghanaian Cape Coast Castle, approximately 250km (4-6hrs one way) to the west. While there, don’t miss the breathtaking Kakum National Park and its remarkable canopy walk. This trip requires a group of 2-3 people and a rented car with a driver. For accommodation in Cape Coast, we recommend the Mighty Victory Hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of the town within walking distance of the beach and castle.
